was V.I.P. … if only for a second
So the wife and I attended the Knicks @ Sixers game last night here in Philly. Decent seats behind the backboard but pretty close. At half-time we went to a bar that was right near our section but we just walked in without the guy doing security checking our tickets. Turns out it was the Centenial Club bar for season ticket holders. The bartender asked to see our bracelets and I said the guy didn't give us them. So she just glanced at the ticket on my phone and gave us bracelets even though I bought the tickets on StubHub and pretty sure they didn't include access to that bar which was... (wait for it)... an open bar (!).Got free drinks! It was pretty sweet! Sometimes it pays to just randomly walk into places as if those are the places you're supposed to walk into. That's the moral of this story, I suppose.
