Yahoo! Sports briefly changed their website design over the long weekend but now it seems to be back to what it was before. I still feel like the layout they had ~3-5 years ago was the best version (right before they switched to a hideous, short-lived "white-text-on-dark-background" look, which gave way to the version they've been using up until now).

What other examples are there of artists with the "song/album/band name" trilogy? (eg, Bad Company's song "Bad Company" off the album, Bad Company.) I got three:
Any more?
Bad Company Angel Witch Porno for Pyros
Any more?

I would've loved to have seen Golden State play without Draymond tonight, if only to showcase how truly overrated he might be. I mean, I honestly don't know. He's polarizing in so many different ways, aesthetically and on the court. That's why it would've been cool. Plus, not to be a prude or nothing, but you should get suspended a game for kicking a guy in the balls twice.
UPDATE: Jesus. I'm not one for I-told-you-so's but they couldn't have played worse without him. WTF is going on in this series?

On the last two "Coleslaw parking lot" videos/vlogs/high art
I recently ate a whole bag of plain, precut coleslaw mixed with jalapeño-infused red wine vinegar in my car in this parking lot you see on your left. Perhaps you've seen footage? It was about 80° F out. I was listening to WFAN. I want to write a little bit about this experience now that I've had some time to reflect.
I feel like it was mostly positive. It's crazy that I only consumed ~125 calories because that was a lot of bites, a lot of munching for only ~125 calories. Sometimes I post pictures of the food I eat here*. Insomuch as the munching is (perhaps 30-50%) of the pleasurable experience that is easy, this was a good ratio (munches : calories consumed).
If I had to do it over again, I would have worked harder to find a more secluded spot because I felt self-conscious eating straight out of the bag in my car. A lot of people were parking near me and it felt like they were watching me even though they were almost certainly not. (But who knows, maybe they were?)
In the end, it was probably a solid B/B- experience. The meal lacked the happy trigger release you get from eating sugar and carbs. I missed that. But that I can't discern whether or not the missing that occurred 'in the moment' or now as I reflect, leads me to believe that this it doesn't really matter. That pushing towards an plant-based, microcalorie diet is the right way to go. I also think that not thinking too much about food is also a decent strategy. These things are very complicated.

I gave up on The Warriors. Just not gonna finish it. I rarely do this with movies but jesus christ that is some horrible shit. There's nothing visually interesting or good-bad enough to offset its sucking. It's ultra lazy and weirdly homophobic. Why is this such a cult classic? It has no redeeming B-movie kitsch to speak of. I just don't get it.
I started End of the Tour today (The David Foster Wallace biopic, pretty good so far) and after that I finally got this Genesis documentary on tap.

I still think there is some cool shit on Twitter and––confession time––I do go back and manually check some hot feeds from time to time. It's kind of annoying since I deleted my account because just going to a Twitter URL sort of functions differently than when you are LOGGED THE WHOLE WAY IN bro. No regrets though. I have still not mastered Zero Content 30 yet but I feel like I'm getting closer. Namaste.

I think I'm finally gonna watch The Warriors. Right now! On the gym stairmaster! On my iPhone 6! Hooray!! (Semi-unrelated Note: I've always hated the IMDB website. It's really ugly and not user-friendly imo. I know people love it, but that's my take. I much prefer getting movie info on Wikipedia usually.)

Only one damn person has uploaded the Electric Factory Mac DeMarco balcony dive to YouTube so far?!? Come on, folks. Unacceptable. It's been like over 12 hours. 80% of the crowd was filming that shit.
Not sure if anyone recorded Mac DeMarco's epic crowdsurf->balcony dive last night. Oh wait everyone did. I was gonna take out my phone too but then I was like, "you know something, these people standing in front of me actually have a better angle." So I let the minions do the work. I'll try to capture and post some of the best vids of this madness later.
How was the show? Really great. All I do is go to shows because of how cool and relevant I am but this one felt genuinely special.

Oh, I know what I forgot to mention on one of my delightful recent podcast episodes! The singer/guitarist/keyboardist on the righthand side of the stage with the beautiful hair had a bum leg and he kept saying he was sitting on a chair when it was in fact a stool (he was wrong) but he was also using crutches to get on and off the stage and this brought up a discussion with my bro about an opinion I've held dearly for years: crutches are useless. There is a time when you are essentially immobile and there is a time when you can limp around with a boot or brace or maybe just a cane. Crutches technology (Big Crutch?) is a stagnant field, my friends. Literally no one on crutches needs crutches. But that's just my 0.02¢.

The name of this band is THE Pizza Puppies
Not "Pizza Puppies," sorry for the confusion but getting a lot of inquiries and need to clear this up. The membership takes this stuff very seriously.
Latest edition to our list of premium FAKE SONGS: "The Pope… Business Antelope?" We here at My America Industries hope to make all of these FAKE SONGS real one day and that is a promise.
A NEW WAY OF DOING
I've deleted all (well, most) of my social media feeds (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). The only ones I am still using will be strictly because I like the programs for art-making purposes and wasn't even using them for 'networking' to begin with:
This is an experiment, just like everything else. An experiment in focus. I will still look at Feedly to keep up on new music news, but all other content channels are closed for business. I will be using this blog + my tumblr (re-rebranded as shrimpkardashian) to put my things into the world. I will also be using this blog in association with Flickr and YouTubes to do 'Twitter-like' musings and 'live' content posts.
But my main goal at this point is to focus on the music and arts career of the Pizza Puppies collective, of which I am proud to announce that I am their new manager, as I continue to work on making My America Industries great again. It's all happening so fast!
