On the left is something I scrawled into the Notes on my phone in the middle of the night: a rough idea for a 'production company logo' (LoL what), and on the right: the logo came to life. First of all, let me address that this name is beyond horrible/nonsensical. Heightened Expectainment?! Jesus. Secondly, it's not such a great logo. I mean the "h.e" like that doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look super original/great either. I get it. The point is this: it's a thing, and I did it. I follow through. Don't doubt me. Because now h.e. owns MyAmerica Inc. and their coming for my job (?). It's unclear, just... forget what you saw here today.

On the Alphabetization of Emojis

The image above is a list of BLOG TAGZ utilized on this page, for example: the extremely random and 100% meaningless "💤💪(z-strong)," which I suppose means "Tired but strong" (maybe?) but I can't even give myself that much credit. What I really want to talk about herein is how the fuck my computer (read: Google, who owns the platform I'm using to make this site) decides to order the emojis I've been using as BLOG TAGZ¡?! It's truly a mystery. I see the order like this:

PS. I really only started to re-use BLOG TAGZ fairly recently, and I'm not entirely sure why. I think it has something to do with my willingness to let go, ie not needing everything to be 'perfect' and tidy/clean. (Given the state of things around these parts, I'm sure you're wondering, "Whaaa when were you ever like that?" But honestly that's one of the Top 3 reasons why things have gotten so damn derelict etc. up in hurrrrr....)

i usually like to walk to get sushi from the grocery store near the office I work at. it's a good walk, a little less than a mile maybe. the Shop Rite on 206 in Montgomery, NJ. they have old 50%-off sushi on sale in the fridge by the front registers. it's usually pretty good, but last week it didn't taste quite right. i didn't get sick or anything; it just wasn't as yummy. i hope it's better today.
