If the Yanks could ever get out of the Bronx with a win today (at 4PM) against Kershaw before this 4-game series in Boston, well, that would be spectacular and I would spontaneously become a 'true believer' again in the M of the P (magic of the pinstripes). JUS SAYIN.

FUCKING LITERALLY JUST BOUGHT A NEW LIGHTNING CABLE TO CHARGE MY IPHONE AT RITE AID FOR $21 AND I CUT INTO THE PACKAGE WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS AND I CUT THE FUCKING CHORD IN HALF. FML.

UPDATE: I actually had an extra cable in my bag from the getgo that I just found! Anyway, was able to re-package the chord and return it to Rite Aid no questions asked. No harm. No foul. Moving on.

For my $$, it's who will have the best overall record. You can get Carolina (15-1 last year) at +800, for example. In addition to that, my top values here are:

• Cardinals +1100
• Bengals +1400
• Giants +3300*
• Redskins +6600*

*It's very telling that the Giants are double the price at an outrageous +6600, but if the NFC East is indeed super-crappy, and one of those teams runs away with it, then they have a chance at top overall record.
