Gawker Media quietly rebranded all their blogs' logos (and favicons). See Deadspin's minimalist downgrade on the left compared to what it used to look like. This seems to fit 'what they're trying to do' a whole lot better. The previous iteration always seemed far too overwrought.

This is the best website in the history of websites. The design is perfect. The information is essential. But most importantly, the intention is pure. Every designer and creator of content, as well as every consumer of content, should take a look, because even if you don't necessarily care about 'caribou fences' there is a lesson to be learned.
