We are very pleased to announce a new recording artist to the Pizza Puppies INC./My America LCC fam: the one and only Wally Harvey, an outsider artist originally from Mexico who emi-immigrated to the Lower-Upper 48 sometime in the early 70s at age 92 wherein he wrote and recorded another 49 albums before his untimely death at age 112 on 9/11 (he died in Maryland). Today we present his debut album, recorded entirely in his native Zapopon, a city in central Mexico, next to Guadalajara known for its Virgin of Zapopan figure (based on Harvey, a virgin), the focus of a popular pilgrimage for "Wally-Heads" as they are known. He is not known. But he is not unknown. And, in fact, if you know YOU KNOW. So now count yourself among THE KNOWN. We will be releasing a new 20-song LP every month or so for the next 1/2-decade. 1,000 beautiful, wholly original works of art in all. This is The Wally Harvey Project and it begins NOW.
