I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE SUN SO I COULD LOOK AT THE SUN

THE 100th LP: 1,000 TRACKS BY VERNON HOWL

We've made it to ALBUM 100, folks. And to mark this momentous occasion, The Pizza Puppies Record Label will be releasing ten songs from this massive 1,000-track project daily for the final 100 days of 2025. The debut LP from VERMIN HAWK which is what VERNON HOWL (me) is calling himself these days. That's right: 100 EPs in 100 DAYS, 1 MASSIVE, CAN'T-MISS RECORD. The above image is the 'cover' of the record, but it's actually the mockup for a book of liner notes (if those still existed): you see the pink lens flare? That's the crease separating the front and back of the book. Is this making any sense? REMEMBER LINER NOTES?? Anyway, the liner notes will unfold here but if you're a fan of square images, then the cover looks like this...

The first track "Metal Elf" has drums but then I went straight into the 'piano and vox' singersongwriter man mode (Which I have been threatening) — a little bait & swith, an in-joke only for me? Perhaps. But the songs turn into what they want to. I AM merely A CONDUIT.

Now, onto the show...

Starting on September 23rd, a new EP will be embedded in this space, complete with lyrics and the aforementioned 'liner notes' (all original photos, inc. over 500 of the SUN duh). Use this handy 'jump' TOC, to find a particular EP. (Some of these might be 'late' especially on the weekends because [see above note about Life is funny, etc.]. Please be aware that I will never compile these tracks in a proper 1,000-song playlist. You have to do a little legwork to make that happen, but I hope you do...
