in the fine tradition of angel witch and porno for pyros and bad company, and perhaps others, rigatoni steve (the band) have released their self-titled debut, which also features a title track named after the band/record, lead single "rigatoni steve."

recorded during a 72-hour pasta binge (penne and linguini, oddly enough) Rigatoni Steve (the micro-EP) is best known for its 2nd single, the enigmatic "salad doctor" which went all the way to #16 on the Billboard Hot 200. the song probably goes something like "ooh la la when you're feeling down / and you need some hot freaking lettuce / you better call the salad doctor / and see what roughage he can get us" … idk though, never heard it. check out the cassingle artwork below:
