I would love to see a rebellion against social media for all the popular (and correct) reasons but also simply because: let's make it harder for people to access our thoughts, ideas and opinions. I think substack is fine. It's blogger or tumblr for this time. Myspace was the one true platform because it had the individuality of a personal website with enough social elements. I guess there's an alternate timeline where that gets corrupted as well but hopefully we can learn from the pros and cons of all this tech to build a better future. I think making things more difficult (on a user level in terms of immediacy) can really foster
more connection in the long-run.
