Hear me out… 
I think one of the big reasons soccer isn't more popular in America is people here resonate with logos/mascots way more than they do/would with emblems, which are the most popular if not the standard design for futbol identities. I personally think there's something cool about them, but they don't hit me like a good American sports logo does (think Jacksonville Shrimp). There's something a bit militaristic about soccer emblems. IDK.That's all I have to say about this.
