Dissecting a political statement made by Tom Morello, noted guitar player and rabble-rouser

This guy, huh?
One of the things that has irked me greatly is that the media has talked about the Trump campaign and the Sanders campaign as, both of them are raging against the machine. We’re going to set that record straight once and for all: what it really means to rage against the machine. ... What they’re being offered up, through the tiny funnel of the electoral process, is a racist demagogue on the one hand, and a great dreamer on the other hand, and in the middle is the lesser of three evils. None of those choices are good enough for us. There needs to be an alternate voice, one that’s unfiltered, uncompromising, and stands unapologetically with the people. [Source.]

I take umbrage at this statement because, in a kinda backwards way, he is calling Bernie a "great dreamer" yet somehow more evil than Hillary Clinton? I mean, who knows, maybe he's talking Snap, Crackle and Pop here, because god forbid he would NAME NAMES.

Of course I appreciate the whole "let's fuck up everything" vibe, and am wholeheartedly in favor of them making a ruckus at the RNC. But sheesh, it also feels like nothing is ever gonna be good enough. Bernie Sanders is (probably?) the most liberal candidate in the modern age to get this far. That's something. A lot of people in the public eye whom one might assume would be supporting him are not, which is a little fishy. It doth raise an eyebrow or two. There might be some 'aspects' people just can't ignore.
